I've been contemplating starting a blog for almost a year - I've finally done it!
There are several reasons I'm carving my own niche into the blogosphere:
- For starters, having a wife that spends more time in the blogosphere than in real life will definitely make you wonder what the excitement is all about
- I need a new outlet to explore ideas and generate conversations
- I hope to generate a readership and network of other like-minded folks
- Have some fodder to hold against my wife so she'll think twice about her posts - now I can publically respond...watch out Jor!
I guess that means we're not a "mixed" couple anymore. You're armed and dangerous!

I enjoyed reading the blog and look forward to regular postings but must disagree slightly with the timeline of events.
As I recall it , a landscape designer started me on the idea of ornamental grasses and even sent me Rick Darke's book to entice me. Only a couple of years, and some errant seedlings later did he warn me about its potential to spread. But I must admit, the cracks in my driveway have never looked better.

Welcome to the blogosphere! I just discovered Jory's blog about 2 months ago and since I was just working on my own garden today (ok, not landscape design, but still), I'm excited to see this new venture. It looks like you're off to a good start. I look forward to watching it grow. (no pun intended)

Jess....it's about time you had your own blog. I look forward to reading what you have to say, not only about your chosen field of expertise; but also as an arena of rebuttal to Jory's onslaughts. Watching you two duke-it-out in cyberspace....now this is going to be fun. I'm proud to add you to my blogroll...Love, Mom DJ
